Impetus defines as something that makes a process or activity happen or happen quickly, or the force or energy with which a body moves. The design brief was to create a pre-school out of used space and Studio Sakha took the challenge to create a space solely to enhance a kid’s mind and create a fun learning environment.

WE DESIGNED IMPETUS KIDS

The creative concept lies from designing elements to downright logo of the school. De-coding the logo of Impetus, originally inspired from the origami art, attempt there was to make a character which can be easily created by anyone, thus promoting easy yet strong association amongst people towards the Impetus. The design of the mascot idea character of Impo was used to represent the friendliness and potential to attract the kids and hence becoming the branding value of Impetus ventures. Based on the innocent, non-furious Dinosaur popularised among children learning.

THE SPACE DESIGN

The design involves interacting with spaces and Studio Sakha took in every aspect of a kid’s perspective to play with in the design. From the entrance to the creative boards, Studio Sakha tackled the problem in a most involving way for a kid

Saoji culture

The unique flavor and taste of Saoji food comes from the very special Saoji spices (masala), The Saojis are a community called Halba Koshtis and traditionally have been handloom weavers – for centuries they spun cotton and weaved soft cotton dhotis for men and sarees for women. But that industry was doomed as fashion changed and cotton clothing went out of favor. To survive, this community turned to the second best thing they knew how to do – cook non-vegetarian food with their special ingredients (masalas).

Team Sakha designed keeping the space look, simple, resembling a relative expression for the user or common masses, it brings the character of simplicity with a pinch of traditions, the wall and the steel box sections are design to interpret the WADA look which is a predominant character of Maharashtra.

The aim was to retain the essence of rooted space which serve Nagpur's Favorite cuisine which is saoji.

Returns & Refunds policy

General Refund & Cancellation Policy for Interior Projects

1. Booking and Initial Consultation Stage

Cancellation within 72 Hours: A 100% refund of the initial booking amount or design retainer is applicable if the cancellation request is formally submitted within 72 hours of payment, provided no site visits or preliminary design works have commenced.
Post-72 Hours (Before Site Measurement): Cancellations requested after the 72-hour window but prior to the official site measurement and technical survey are eligible for a partial refund, subject to administrative and consultation deductions.

2. Design and Development Stage

Post-Site Measurement & Concept Delivery: Once site measurements are completed and 2D layouts or 3D conceptual designs are delivered, the design fee becomes entirely non-refundable. This covers professional billable man-hours, technical drawings, and spatial planning services already rendered.
Design Revisions: Clients are permitted a defined set of revisions outlined in their specific scope of work. Entirely restarting a design path after final sign-off will attract additional professional fees.

3. Execution and Procurement Stage

Custom & Made-to-Order Elements: Modular furniture, customized joinery, specialized stonework, and made-to-order fixtures are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable once production or material procurement has been initiated.
Third-Party Goods & Appliances: Hardware, lighting, and specialized appliances procured from external original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are governed strictly by the respective manufacturer's return and warranty policies.

4. Processing Terms and Timelines

Taxes and Convenience Fees: Government taxes (such as GST) and third-party payment gateway or convenience fees are non-refundable.
Refund Mode: Approved monetary refunds are credited back via electronic bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/UPI) to the client's original source account within 7 to 10 business days.

In architectural practice and professional interior design contracts, fee escalation for delays exceeding 3 months beyond the contractual timeline follows standard industry models:

1. Monthly Retainer / Extension Fee:
Instead of increasing the overall percentage fee, practices bill a fixed monthly management retainer for every month past the grace period.

Standard Rate: 5% to 10% of the total design fee per extra month, or a fixed monthly rate calculated on man-hours (e.g., ₹25,000 – ₹50,000/month depending on project scale).
3-Month Calculation: Billed for Months 4, 5, and 6 as an extension charge to cover ongoing site supervision, project management, and vendor coordination.

2. Percentage Escalation on Remaining Professional Fee

If the project fee is tied to milestones or total project value, an escalation percentage is applied strictly to the unpaid balance or additional site supervision.

Standard Escalation: 10% to 15% increase on the remaining unpaid professional fee if the delay is caused by client decisions, hold-ups in procurement, or contractor/vendor delays.
Material / Vendor Cost Escalation: For turnkey contracts (where execution is included), material and labor cost increases are passed directly to the client at actual market rates (typically 5% to 10% cost variation for delays over 90 days).

3. Per-Visit Charge Model

If the design office work is already complete and the delay only affects on-site execution supervision:

Site Visit Rate: Beyond the contract timeline (and included site visit limit), site visits switch to a per-visit charge
(e.g., ₹3,000 – ₹7,500 per site visit).
